Option #1: Brand Strategy
Part 1. Pick one of your favorite brands. Now, search to see if this company is using the “top five”: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest. Which of these social-media platforms does your brand use? Describe your findings.
Part 2. Analyze the content, because content is king!
Who is the primary target segment for this brand’s social-media channels?
Is the same content in all the social-media posts or does it vary across platforms? What type of imagery is the brand using (<link is hidden> photos of the product, images of people)? What is different across the social-media platforms?
Does the company post with the same frequency across all the platforms? Which platform does the brand post to most often?
Are users on one platform being directed to another platform?
Given your findings, does your brand favor one social media over another? What might be the brand’s strategy that explains your findings?
Your well-written paper should be 2-3 pages, not including the required cover and reference pages.
Discuss and reference concepts taken from the assigned textbook reading and relevant research.
Support your paper with at least three scholarly references (one of which includes the textbook). The CSU Global Library is a good place to find these references.
